Step 1 provides a quick overview of the main improvement areas. In step 2 these are discussed in more detail based on a one-day workshop provided by Improve4all. Participants will perform a self-assessment looking for further improvement opportunities. As the focus areas are already clear, it is about making the right strategic choices. But it is also about what specific actions can lead immediately to lower cost, less risk and therefore better results. In this phase next to the Fundamental Concepts and the EFQM criteria, also the four sustainability principles of The Natural Step play their part.
Also in step 2 participants can apply for an EFQM Committed to Excellence (C2E) recognition. Depending on the level of improvement achieved over a period of 9 to 12 months, the C2E-label can be granted. The label is valid for 2 years.
